Try-b4-Joining
We welcome anyone interested in Speed Skating to come out and give it a try - whether you have Olympic dreams or just want to try a new awesome sport. All ages are welcome, the only requirement is that you know how to skate (i.e. either excellently or just able to skate around without assistance). Skaters are welcome to do up to two trial sessions before deciding if they'd like to join for the year and Try-B4-Join fees will be deducted from current year membership fees.
- $20 per session (pretty much just covers insurance)
- Where: Western Fair Sports Complex
- When: Tuesday February 7, 2012 7:00 - 8:00 pm (come 1/2 hr early to be fit for skates)

Mandatory Safety Equipment needed: hockey style neck guard soccer style shin pads knee pads gloves (preferrably leather) helmet
We have a good variety of speedskates in inventory for Try-B4-Joiners which can also be rented for the season. Please note we can not guarantee your skate size will be available. If you plan on coming to a Try-B4-Join session, please give us advance warning with your shoe size as we can borrow from near by clubs if needed.
